Moroccan Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Violent Theft and Maternal Abuse

A man has just been sentenced to 5 years in prison in El Jadida for theft with violence and drug use. Upon examining his case, it was "discovered" that this individual was abusing his own mother.
According to the newspaper Aujourd’hui le Maroc, in addition to attacking strangers, this individual was assaulting his own mother. When she refused to give him money or when she asked him to stop using drugs and alcohol. She filed a complaint. But no one came to arrest him. Although the conviction he has just received also includes these odious acts.
Another person had filed a complaint against him, a young man. As he was returning home in Sidi Bouzid, this repeat offender, along with two other unsavory individuals, allegedly assaulted him.
The criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal of El Jadida has just sentenced him to 5 years in prison for qualified theft and violence against an ascendant. He had already served prison sentences for qualified theft, violence and drug use. At the time of his arrest, he was completely drunk.
