Moroccan Man Sentenced to Death for Killing Father in Drug-Fueled Rage

The young man who killed his father in Ouled Frej, in the province of El Jadida was sentenced to death. This is the verdict handed down by the criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal of the city.
The accused was tried for premeditated murder, drunkenness and drug use, reports Assabah. It all started with a reproach. The family father was reproaching his son for his irresponsible behavior and his addiction to alcohol and drugs. The child did not appreciate the fact that his parent was scolding him in front of his brothers and sisters.
One evening, he decided to kill his father. Under the influence of drugs, he started to scream. This provoked his father. He tried to call him to order. In vain. The young man dealt him a fatal blow. He died on the spot.
After committing this crime, the murderer tried to flee but the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Ouled Frej brigade, alerted by one of the victim’s relatives, managed to apprehend him.
At the bar, he admitted the facts he was accused of. The verdict was handed down: the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal of El Jadida sentenced him to the death penalty.
