Moroccan Man Arrested in Montpellier for Violent Threats and Domestic Abuse

The police arrested a Moroccan in Montpellier for domestic violence. He had violently beaten his wife in the face and threatened to kill her.
The facts had occurred in their apartment in the La Mosson district on August 7. Drunk, the man overwhelmed his wife with reproaches. This 37-year-old Montpellier woman, mother of an 8-year-old child from a previous union and a 3-month-old baby with the Moroccan, was in the kitchen, reports Midi Libre.
The defendant did not hesitate to break the kitchen’s bay window. Then he threatens to kill his wife. He says he wants to throw her from the 4th floor or cut her up. What follows? He grabs her by the hair and drags her on the ground before hitting her violently in the face. Consequence: a large bruise on her left eye.
While the defendant was sleeping, his partner called the police. On their arrival, the law enforcement officers arrested the violent husband, in possession of two knives. He will be placed in custody then referred with a view to an immediate appearance.
