Moroccan Man Arrested After Fatal Exorcism Attempt on Wife

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Leqliaa arrested a resident of Inezgane who killed his "possessed" wife during an exorcism session. The alleged murderer is currently in custody.
An exorcism session that turns into a tragedy. While trying to exorcise his wife, a father of five commits the unthinkable. On Thursday, this resident of Inezgane beat his wife to "drive the devil out of her body" to the point where the victim was no longer screaming, reports Goud. An effect that made the husband believe that the ritual had been a success.
He then leaves the room. He returns and discovers that his wife’s body has become inert. She seemed to be dying. He immediately takes her to the emergency room of the regional hospital in Inezgane where she died.
The alleged murderer was arrested and then placed in detention.
