Brother Arrested for Gruesome Murder of Elderly Man in Fez, Morocco

The lifeless body of a sexagenarian was found in a plastic bag in the Ben Debbab area of Fez on January 9. The perpetrator, a brother of the victim, was arrested and placed in custody.
The alleged perpetrator of the murder of the sexagenarian whose mutilated body was found in a plastic bag in the Ben Debbab area on January 9 has been arrested by the Fez police, reports Al Akhbar. He is a septuagenarian accused of having murdered his brother. The investigations made it possible to identify the victim and subsequently to arrest the suspect while he was hiding the evidence of the crime in the house where he lived with his brother, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release.
After being placed in custody and brought before the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was placed in pre-trial detention in the local prison. He will have to undergo a more in-depth investigation. The investigators are trying to understand what prompted the septuagenarian to kill his brother.
