Moroccan Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of Wife’s Lover in Temara Region

The events took place last Wednesday in the rural commune of Sidi Yahya Zaer. A man caught his wife - a maid - in the midst of sexual intercourse with another man in a shack located in the Lmaakla slum, reports Assabah. He flies into a rage. He grabs a knife and inflicts several blows on his rival.

Alerted, the elements of the judicial police went to the crime scene. The victim was lying in a pool of blood. While the emergency services were transporting him to the Sidi Lahcen provincial hospital in Témara, he succumbed to his injuries. The alleged murderer and his wife were arrested. They were taken to the police station, then placed in custody under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office. The king’s prosecutor at the Rabat Court of Appeal ordered the autopsy of the victim’s body.

Pending the decision of justice, the couple’s two children were entrusted to their maternal grandparents.
