Moroccan Man Arrested for Domestic Violence in Pau, France
A man of Moroccan origin hit his wife with an iron in Pau, in southwestern France. Following a complaint filed against him, the defendant was immediately taken into custody pending his appearance in court on Thursday, September 19.
The couple’s neighbors struggle to understand the reasons for this outburst that occurred on Monday, September 16. Apparently, it all started from a simple argument between the two people.
In a fit of anger, the man hit his 45-year-old wife, report several French media. He is said to have hit her in the back and head with a still hot iron.
Reported following a complaint filed by the wife whom he also expelled from the home they shared, the man is expected to be tried summarily on Thursday, September 19. He was taken into custody, pending his trial.
