Moroccan Agriculture Minister Sues French Publication for Defamation

Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, filed a complaint in Paris against "Maghreb confidentiel". The politician considers that he has been defamed by the news bulletin.
Minister Akhannouch is clearly very upset with the Parisian news bulletin. The incriminating article would be dated September 26, published in the latest electronic edition of the newspaper, reports Le360.
"Maghreb confidentiel" would have published information accusing the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Aziz Akhannouch, of having "made a razzia to make a TelQuel issue disappear from the kiosks", reports the same source. Information that was moreover quickly denied by the TelQuel magazine.
The complaint in question, according to Le360, was filed in Paris on Friday, September 27, by Me Olivier Baratelli, a lawyer at the Paris bar. The coming days will further enlighten everyone on this matter.
