Moroccan Man Arrested for Assaulting Wife, Posting Abuse Video Online

It all started with the discovery of the video sequence on social networks by the central service in charge of crimes related to new technologies.

In this video sequence, the young man, on the pretext of infidelity, "inflicted physical assaults on a naked and tied up woman," according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

The operation carried out by the elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of the city of Tangier, in collaboration with the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), required the opening of a preliminary investigation.

This investigation made it possible to identify and arrest the accused in Tangier and to locate the apartment in Assilah where the recording of the video sequence was made. Arrested, the defendant, aged 28, was taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation.
