Mentally Disabled Man Assaulted in Tétouan: Three Suspects Arrested After Video Surfaces

Elements of the prefectural judicial police service in Tétouan have just announced the arrest of three individuals for violence and defamation against a mentally disabled person. These three repeat offenders had previously been convicted in drug and theft cases.

The arrest of the three suspects came after the dissemination of a video sequence posted on social media on Thursday. According to a statement from the DGSN, the incriminating video shows a man physically assaulting a person suffering from a mental illness, while two of his accomplices were recording this criminal act using a mobile phone.

Relying on this sequence, the elements of the prefectural judicial police service of the city succeeded in identifying the main aggressor and two of his accomplices and proceeded to arrest them one after the other in Tétouan the day after the events.
