Moroccan Makeup Artist Drops Assault Charges After Apology

Firdaous Yousfi, the make-up artist, insulted and assaulted by two individuals, has finally withdrawn her complaint.
The day after her assault, Firdaouss had nevertheless opposed any negotiation and had refused to withdraw her complaint.
The victim changed her mind, following a confrontation with one of the two suspects and decided to forgive him. The make-up artist has therefore withdrawn her complaint after he apologized, it is reported.
"Several people also called me on the phone and asked me to forgive and bury this affair once and for all. I accepted," she said.
The day after this assault, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) had issued a press release announcing the arrest of the aggressor and the identification of the one who accompanied him.
