Moroccan Lifeguard Rescues Austrian Tourists from Dangerous Currents in Mirleft Beach

A Moroccan lifeguard saved two Austrian tourists from drowning on Sunday, December 29. The incident took place on the Imi Nterka beach in the commune of Mirleft, province of Sidi Ifni.
While two Austrian tourists, a mother and her daughter, were about to be swept away by a sea current at the Imi Nterka beach, Hakim Rkibi, a 22-year-old lifeguard who was observing the scene, rushed to save them from drowning.
The young man works as a lifeguard during the summer season in the region, according to sources at Hespress.
