German Tourists Survive Harrowing Cliff-Edge Crash in Morocco’s Tizi N’Haroun Pass

A couple of German tourists miraculously escaped a serious road accident at the Tizi N’Haroun pass, 40 km from Ouarzazate.
Their 4x4 vehicle overturned at the level of a bend, before sliding to the bottom of a ravine. Victims of minor injuries, the two tourists were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary care.
According to Agadir24, this is the second accident at this axis in less than a month. The car of two other tourists, hardly extracted from the rubble by a crane from the municipality, had suffered the same fate last October.
Built by the French, Tizi N’Haroun, a place very frequented by foreign tourists, is the shortest section between the cities of Tata and Ouarzazate. Residents and associations have been demanding for many years that it be paved.
