Moroccan Lawyers Offer Free Legal Advice Hotline for Expats

The Lawyers’ Club in Morocco is helping the Moroccan community living abroad by making telephone lines available to them, allowing them to benefit free of charge from legal guidance and advice.
This initiative launched in the aftermath of the royal speech on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People is a way for the Lawyers’ Club to support MREs in their investment and development projects as suggested by King Mohammed VI.
This is what Maître Adellatif Ait Boujbir, a lawyer at the Casablanca Bar and a member of the Lawyers’ Club of Morocco, believes. He explains that "this legal support is very important for Moroccans of the world who are currently on vacation in Morocco and who need to be guided to best manage their affairs, whether in the courts or in public administrations," reports Le Matin.
The initiative was launched on August 21 and will run until September 1. Dozens of phone calls have already been recorded with concerns related to fraud and real estate transactions.
