Moroccan Lawyers File War Crimes Complaint Against Israeli Soldier in Marrakech

A complaint for crimes against humanity targeting an Israeli soldier has been addressed to the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Rabat by lawyers from Marrakech.
The Moroccan lawyers accuse Moshé.A, an Israeli soldier residing in Marrakech, of having participated in the war against Gaza. The plaintiffs also accuse him of having committed numerous crimes during this period, including acts of genocide, ethnic cleansing, torture, of which he boasted in documented videos where he confirms the murders, arson, torture and rapes against the Palestinians. The acts committed constitute terrorist crimes under Moroccan and international law, the complaint states.
The lawyers intend to bring the case before the Moroccan justice system. They are demanding the arrest of the soldier and his detention before his trial. They have also called on the authorities to take the necessary measures to ensure that the latter does not leave the national territory before the start of the trial.
