Moroccan Lawmaker Tests Positive for COVID-19, Parliament Cases Rise to 4

The deputy of the Party of Justice and Development, Amina Maelainine, announced on Tuesday that she had contracted the Coronavirus.
In a Facebook post, Amina Maelainine made public the results of her screening test. The list of Covid-19 victims in the Moroccan parliament thus rises to 4 cases.
Without giving more details, the deputy followed up with "I thank God for everything." A post that earned her a great outpouring of solidarity and compassion from Internet users.
Two weeks ago, three senior officials within the hemicycle were declared positive for Coronavirus. The president of the House of Representatives had then required deputies to take the test 48 hours before accessing parliament.
