Fez Families Fear COVID-19 Spread After 11 Butchers Test Positive Post-Eid

Eleven butchers tested positive for coronavirus the day after the celebration of Eid Al-Adha in Fez. Families who had requested their services for the ritual of slaughtering the sheep fear being contaminated in turn.
The inhabitants of Fez accuse the health authorities of not having made the results of the butchers who had requested the slaughter authorization required as part of the preventive measures enacted to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the kingdom available in time, reports Al Massae. Broadcast two days after Eid, the test results showed that 11 butchers were infected with Covid-19.
Since the announcement of the news, worry can be seen on people’s faces. The inhabitants of the city who have been in contact with these butchers fear being declared positive for the coronavirus.
Fez is one of the cities that has recorded a surge in contamination cases in recent days.
