Moroccan King Observes Night of Destiny with Social Distancing Measures
King Mohammed VI participated in a religious vigil, this Wednesday, 26th of Ramadan 1441, surrounded by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, on the occasion of the Night of Destiny.
The Moroccan Sovereign performed the evening prayer and the tarawih in strict compliance with barrier gestures and distancing measures between the faithful.
For his part, the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Taoufiq, had to close the collection of the Prophet’s hadiths, known as "Sahih el Boukhari".
It should be recalled that for the first time, the Muslim community around the world celebrated the Night of Destiny outside the mosques, in compliance with the preventive measures put in place to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
