Moroccan-Italian Woman Evades COVID-19 Test After Showing Symptoms in Morocco

A Moroccan national residing in Italy refused to undergo the Coronavirus screening test on Sunday, March 8, during her visit to the provincial hospital in Ouezzane.
Arrived in Morocco for about ten days, the 35-year-old woman had visited several Moroccan cities before an acute respiratory crisis forced her to consult a doctor.
Presenting typical clinical signs of Coronavirus infection, the patient preferred to disappear into nature rather than undergo the screening test recommended by the hospital staff.
A wanted notice was issued by the local authorities, the police and the health officials of the city, who managed to locate her thanks to the surveillance cameras and place her in isolation at the local hospital, pending the results of the screening test.
