Moroccan Cabinet Tested for Coronavirus After Minister’s Positive Result

All ministers, except the Minister of Transport, who was absent from the national territory, underwent the coronavirus screening test. Upon his return from the mission, Abdelkader Amara tested positive.
While the Minister of Transport had participated in the last government council, many citizens are wondering if the ministers will be placed in quarantine. But the Ministry of Health reassures about the health of the ministers. They underwent screening tests that proved negative.
According to Hespress, quarantine was not imposed on the ministers, but they have nevertheless "committed to being extremely cautious in the fight against this virus."
Regarding the case of Abdelkader Amara, the Ministry of Health stated that the symptoms presented by the minister are mild and do not cause any concern. Moreover, in accordance with the instructions of the doctors, he will observe a 14-day self-isolation. Similarly, he will carry out his usual duties, while using all the technological means that allow him to work remotely.
