Moroccan Minister Denies Emergency Hospitalization, Continues Work While Quarantined for COVID-19

The Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, provided a formal denial on Tuesday, March 24, of the rumors about his state of health. He has been in quarantine since he tested positive for coronavirus.
"I am doing very well. I am working normally." These are the words the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water used to put an end to the wild rumors about his deteriorating health.
On March 14, he had tested positive for coronavirus after returning from a mission abroad. Since that day, he has been in quarantine. He continues to perform his duties through telework.
In a previous statement to MAP, the minister had already reassured about his health status, stating that it was "normal and reassuring".
