Moroccan-Israeli-American Leadership Program Launches to Strengthen Interfaith Ties

The Mimouna Association and the American Jewish Committee (AJC) proceeded on Thursday to launch the "Muslim-Jewish Fellowship for Emerging Leaders" program, which is to run until May 2022.
The initiative aims to strengthen the ties between Moroccan, Israeli and American civil society actors, according to a statement from the organizers.
To this end, a first virtual seminar has already taken place with the participation of 20 civil society actors, including 10 Moroccans. Four more virtual seminars will follow, the aim of which is to develop the leadership skills of these young actors and exchange with personalities.
Ultimately, the participants will produce 20 videos to disseminate and raise awareness on topics related to the relationship between Jewish and Muslim communities.
The program will continue until May 2022, when representatives of the AJC and the Mimouna Association will meet for visits to Morocco and Israel, the same source points out.
