Meta Launches Digital Skills Program for 2,000 Moroccan SMEs

The 2nd edition of "Boost with Facebook" was launched on Wednesday by the company Meta (formerly Facebook), in collaboration with the Digital Development Agency (ADD), to strengthen the digital capabilities of Moroccan companies.
For this edition, the program plans to support 2,000 Moroccan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through various learning paths through virtual sessions in French and Arabic. The modules are designed to help SMEs overcome business challenges caused by the pandemic and strengthen their online presence, the organizers said in a statement.
To this end, LaStartupFactory will work closely with the ADD to amplify the training across Morocco, as well as across key sectors and communities as part of its mission to promote technology and innovation in the country.
Last year, "the program trained more than 1,700 SMEs in eight Moroccan cities, in the regions of Casablanca-Settat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Dakhla and Souss-Massa," it is noted. Thanks to this program, 80% of the participating SMEs were able to strengthen their marketing tactics and establish a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
