Moroccan Instagram Influencer Arrested in Rabat for Multi-Million Dirham Fraud Scheme

The police have arrested and placed in provisional detention a blogger for fraud and breach of trust in Rabat. The loot amounts to more than 3 million dirhams.
The blogger’s arrest follows numerous complaints filed with the judicial police in Rabat, reports Al Akhbar. She is accused of fraud. She is said to have sold the same vehicle to two individuals.
The investigation revealed that the person involved had carried out several commercial operations with bounced checks. The Instagrammer, with the complicity of her husband and a relative, is said to have defrauded a number of citizens. The loot amounts to more than 3 million dirhams.
After being taken into custody and appearing before the public prosecutor, the blogger was placed in provisional detention at the El Arjat 1 prison.
