Starting from nothing, the young Mohamed Ounasser was the subject of the most prestigious distinction of the year 2019, awarded by the local Government of Navarra in northern Spain. He just received the award for "the young personality of 2019", for his perseverance and his willingness to integrate into the host country.
The award was presented by the Vice-President of the Government of Navarra, on the occasion of a celebration held at the palace. For the local official, Ounasser represents "a model of integration and self-improvement" for the young people living in the region.
The Vice-President did not spare his praise for the young Moroccan, who arrived in the province in 2018, describing him as "a reference in terms of willingness to learn, strengthen ties and sacrifice".
Arrived in Spain under difficult circumstances, the Moroccan national had joined a local association of social, educational and professional works, which helps young people in difficult situations. In parallel, he had completed a training course in social and professional integration, before embarking on another in the field of electricity.
