Moroccan Goalkeeper Bounou Rejects Offers, Commits to Struggling Sevilla

Like his compatriot and teammate Youssef En-Nesyri, Yassine Bounou does not want to leave Seville in the "worst moments". The goalkeeper admits having declined offers during the winter transfer window, preferring to continue at Seville.
Yassine Bounou explained that he could have left in January, but he preferred to stay at Seville so as not to leave the team in a complicated situation. "At the beginning of the transfer window, we talked to some teams, but I felt it wasn’t the time to go tell Monchi that I had to leave... I didn’t want to leave at a time like this. I’m happy here," said the Moroccan goalkeeper in an interview with PTV.
"The same thing happened to me as to Youssef. We felt that we could give more here, that it wasn’t the time to leave. And even more so now, when we’re in a situation that a club like Seville doesn’t deserve. Focus here and work, nothing
