Moroccan Foreign Minister Accepts Invitation to Visit Israel, Marking Diplomatic Milestone
Following the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, Nasser Bourita affirmed that he will go to Israel "as soon as possible".
This invitation was addressed during a virtual ceremony marking the first anniversary of the normalization agreement between Morocco and Israel, under the sponsorship of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
On this occasion, the three heads of diplomacy, Nasser Bourita, Yaïr Lapid and Anthony Blinken welcomed a partnership aimed at establishing a "lasting peace" in the Middle East.
At the end of the discussions, Yair Lapid invited Nasser Bourita to visit Israel. An invitation accepted by the latter, specifying that this trip will take place "as soon as possible".
