Moroccan Fitness Mogul Sentenced to Prison for Financial Crimes

Jonathan Harroch, CEO of the Nation Sportive group, at the head of the City Club, Unique Fitness Clubs and UFC Gym Morocco brands, has been sentenced to a prison term. This court decision, concerning financial matters, is part of a broader judicial context for the entrepreneur.
The court of first instance of Aïn Sebaâ, in Casablanca, found Jonathan Harroch guilty of issuing checks without provision and fraud. The sentence handed down is two years in prison. This conviction follows a complaint filed by a citizen.
In parallel with this case, Jonathan Harroch is the subject of a separate investigation, led by the Casablanca Court of Appeal. This procedure concerns accusations of human trafficking.
Several young women, six to date, have filed a complaint against the manager. They report pressure and manipulation. A confrontation between the plaintiffs and Jonathan Harroch is planned as part of this investigation.
The arrest of Jonathan Harroch, on October 12, 2024, in a hotel establishment in Casablanca, marked a turning point. He was apprehended in possession of a small quantity of cocaine, in the company of two young women.
