Moroccan Fighter Amine Ziani Claims World Title in French Savate Boxing

The Moroccan Amine Ziani won his fight against the Croat Roko Dozdor on Saturday evening in Savoie, thus becoming the new world champion of French savate boxing, in super lightweight.
At the end of a five-round fight of two minutes each, Amine Ziani, 35, won the most beautiful title of his career: the world title belt in French savate boxing. After a balanced first round, a second round during which on a headbutt from Drozdov, Ziani’s left eyebrow was hit, a third round marked by repeated clashes, the professor of the Ratel Club d’Aiguillon chained the punches and kicks during the last two rounds and won the victory.
The judges unanimously declared the Aiguillonnais the winner, reports La Dépêche du Midi. Amine Ziani thus completes his rich record. The Moroccan is world champion in kickboxing, European champion in full-contact, African and French champion in Elite B French boxing.
