Moroccan-Born Boxer Amin Hachimi Claims Spanish Welterweight Title in Undefeated Bout

The Madrid-born Moroccan, Amin Hachimi (9-0, 6 KO) has been the new Spanish welterweight champion since Friday. He won his fight against Aarón Alhambra (11-1, 3 KO) after ten rounds.
In the early rounds of the fight, Hachimi remained focused and more active than his opponent, Alhambra, who was struggling to find his place. In the middle of the fight, Alhambra put pressure on Hachimi and managed to win a round. But in the end, it was the Moroccan who got the better of his opponent, according to Marca.
At 23 years old, Amin Hachimi thus becomes the new Spanish welterweight champion and will have to defend his belt at the national level, before going to fight other important fights elsewhere in Europe.
The title was held by Castreño Jon Míguez, who won the European title in the same category a few weeks ago by beating Aitor Nieto from Asturias.
