Moroccan Farmworker Arrested for False Rape Accusation Against Elderly Spaniard

A Moroccan seasonal worker in the strawberry fields, in an illegal situation, was recently arrested by the national police in Granada, for having filed a false rape accusation against an 86-year-old Spanish national.
According to the Europa press agency, the 42-year-old worker had decided to take revenge on a Spanish citizen by accusing him of rape.
With the help of another Moroccan woman, the seasonal worker had managed to find a domestic job with a divorced Spanish citizen. After much effort, they had managed to convince him to play the role of a cohabiting partner, and to register the couple in the municipal registers of Granada.
However, conflicts between the two parties prompted the Spaniard to remove his name from the register, thus depriving the Moroccan worker of the residence declaration allowing her to benefit from the rights of the cohabitation system.
The three individuals were prosecuted on charges of forgery and use of forgery for the benefit of illegal immigration. The Moroccan national was also prosecuted for filing a false complaint.
