Dangerous Spanish Fugitive Extradited from Morocco to Spain After 5-Year Manhunt

Arrested in Tétouan on March 29, a dangerous Spanish criminal has just been extradited to Spain by the Moroccan authorities. He had escaped from the Madrid prison on November 1, 2018.
The so-called "Ruso" had managed, with the help of several accomplices, to deceive the vigilance of the prison officers of the Valdemoro prison in the suburbs of Madrid, during his transfer to the hospital.
Described by the Spanish authorities as a very dangerous criminal, the accused was serving a very heavy prison sentence for voluntary homicide, kidnapping, illegal confinement, hostage-taking and armed robbery.
The fugitive prisoner, who had entered Morocco with a false passport, was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol, before being arrested by the Moroccan security services last March.
