The price of boat fares to Morocco remains a problem for many Moroccan expats. Deputy Houria Didi, from the PAM group in the House of Representatives, has once again called for a reform of maritime transport.

The parliamentarian particularly points to ticket costs, which are especially sensitive during the Marhaba operation. According to her, high crossing fares, combined with recurring complaints about service quality, require government intervention.

Houria Didi demands concrete solutions to ease the burden on travelers and improve their travel conditions. She also emphasizes the need to raise safety standards, quality, and economic profitability in the sector.

The deputy advocates for an integrated national maritime transport strategy. This should guarantee line continuity, support the sector, accelerate digitalization, and modernize services.
