According to Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport and Logistics, nearly 3 million Moroccans and 700,000 cars were registered last year as part of this operation, representing an increase of approximately 7% compared to 2024.

For this year, forecasts predict a new growth rate between 7 and 10%. The minister assured the House of Representatives that preparations are proceeding precisely, in direct coordination with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.

27 ships mobilized

To handle these flows, more than 27 ships belonging to seven different shipping companies have been mobilized. They will operate 12 maritime routes between Moroccan ports and their counterparts in Spain, France and Italy.

Air transport is also being strengthened. The ministry indicates that it has authorized 58 airlines to operate 2,403 regular flights per week, connecting Morocco to 160 international airports in 61 countries.

Ticket prices are also being monitored. Although they are subject to an internationalized liberalized market, authorities say they want to limit the impact of rising oil prices and protect travelers against any illegal price increases.
