Moroccan Expat’s Car Strikes Mother and Daughters in Tangier, Victims Critical

Three pedestrians were mowed down by a car registered in Germany in Tangier and are in critical condition at the Mohammed V hospital. The driver was arrested by the police who are currently conducting an investigation to shed light on this accident.
The accident occurred on Friday in Tangier. A car registered in Germany ran over a woman in her forties and her two minor daughters on a pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Marina Bay on Mohammed VI Boulevard. Informed, the civil protection elements arrived at the scene of the accident. They took the three victims to the Mohammed V hospital in critical condition. They were admitted to intensive care.
Shortly afterwards, the police elements proceeded to arrest the driver of the car. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
