Moroccan Engineer Develops Smart T-Shirt to Combat Child Kidnappings

Faced with the increase in kidnappings in Morocco, a young entrepreneur, Anis Kirama, has developed a preventive invention. It is a connected T-shirt equipped with detectors and an integrated microphone.
The family members’ phone numbers can be recorded in the integrated microphone. The young Moroccan engineer explains that he had to work with pediatricians to develop this gadget. The sensors assess the danger by analyzing factors such as heart rate, body temperature (heat). As for the integrated microphone, it records the surrounding voices to trigger alerts to parents.
According to Anis Kirama, the idea for the invention came to him after the murder of little Adnane, an 11-year-old boy who disappeared in Tangier and was found dead and buried near the family home. The engineer also announces that the marketing of the T-shirt will begin in 2021. This invention will help protect children and even prevent and reduce cases of kidnapping worldwide and in Morocco in particular.
