The defendant, who was driving in the wrong direction on a street in the Juncaril industrial area to try to escape the Civil Guard agents, collided with a delivery van. With the car now unusable, he continued on foot, reports Granada Hoy.
The Moroccan was finally apprehended by the Civil Guard agents who had deployed in the area, searching for him. The search of the vehicle he was driving allowed the seizure of several bags containing 62.7 kilos of hashish hidden in the trunk.
The defendant was made available to the judicial police of the Civil Guard of Maracena for the needs of the investigation, which has already made it possible to discover that the accident vehicle was rented by a 34-year-old woman from Malaga.
