Spanish Police Seize 725 Kilos of Hashish Hidden in Pepper Shipment

Civil Guard agents arrested a Moroccan and a Spaniard who were transporting 725 kilograms of Moroccan hashish hidden between pallets of peppers in an overweight truck. They are being prosecuted for the alleged crime against public health.
The Civil Guard agents who were carrying out a routine check of freight transport vehicles on the A-4 road in the municipality of La Carolina, found that the truck in which the two suspects were traveling was overweight. After checking, the agents confirmed an overload of 4,000 kilos.

Given the nervous state of the two passengers during this operation, the agents decided to also inspect the goods being transported and noted that they were peppers packaged in pallets. But the smell of hashish attracted their attention, prompting them to deepen the search and discover many tablets of Moroccan hashish, wrapped in film. The seized drug weighs 725 kilograms.
