Moroccan Customs Seize 130 kg of Cannabis at Ceuta Border Crossing

130 kg of cannabis resin (chira) were seized on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Ceuta crossing point, according to a statement from the Moroccan customs.
This large quantity of drugs was discovered, according to the same statement, thanks to the thorough search of a vehicle registered in Spain.
The same source reports that the driver, a Moroccan residing in Spain, had taken care to conceal the quantity of drugs inside a hiding place arranged at the level of the chassis and the trunk of the car.
For the purposes of the investigation opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, the defendant was handed over to the judicial police of Tetouan.
