Moroccan Customs Destroy Over 20 Tons of Seized Drugs in Rabat Region

Since the beginning of the year, the regional customs services of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra have already destroyed more than 20 tons of drugs seized during the various checks carried out in the region.
Six destruction operations have taken place, a regional directorate press release indicates, specifying that in total, 20 tons and 816 kilograms of cannabis, kif and tobacco, 100,000 psychotropic tablets and more than 540 grams of cocaine and heroin were burned in the landfill located in Kénitra.
Last week, the same services proceeded to incinerate 2,045 kg of cannabis, 376 kg of kif, 671 kg of powdered tobacco, 74 kg of leaf tobacco, 8,114 psychotropic tablets, more than 5.3 kg of "maâjoune" and more than 202 g of cocaine, it is specified.
