Moroccan Customs Clarifies Rules for Expats Importing Rental Cars

MREs have the possibility to import from abroad and therefore drive in Morocco with a rental car. Here is what customs says exactly in its guide:

"If you enter the country in a rental vehicle, the latter may be imported into Morocco under the temporary admission regime upon presentation to the customs authorities at the entry office of the required documents."

Regarding the documents, here are the ones required:

• Vehicle documents.
• Residence permit abroad.
• Rental contract.
