Moroccan Coast Guard Seizes 800 Kilos of Cannabis in Major Drug Bust

An attempt to traffic 800 kilos of drugs was thwarted by a patrol from the maritime gendarmerie company of Assilah.
The routine control operation carried out by this patrol made it possible to seize this large quantity of drugs, divided into 30 packages containing cannabis resin, reports Barlamane.
According to the same media, another individual was arrested at the same location by elements of the FAR control center, in possession of 5 kilos of drugs in a car.
An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to determine the ins and outs of this case, it is indicated.
