Moroccan Coalition Forms to Oppose Israel Ties, Support Palestine

The resumption of relations between Morocco and Israel is not to the liking of some who see it as a danger for the Palestinian people. About fifteen political parties, trade unions, feminist networks and Moroccan associations have joined forces to fight against normalization with the Hebrew state.
It was at the headquarters of the Moroccan Association of Human Rights (AMDH) in Rabat that the general assembly took place, which gave birth to this unified framework with the aim of "thwarting normalization with the Hebrew state" and fighting against any action contrary to the interests of Palestine.
Called the "Moroccan Front for the Support of Palestine and Against Normalization", this framework has a national secretariat composed of 17 members. Taib Madmad was appointed as the coordinator of the front and Mohamed El Ghofri holds the position of rapporteur.
This Thursday, March 4, the results and conclusions of the constituent general assembly, and the objectives and missions of the Front will be unveiled to the Moroccan and international public opinion, during a press conference to be held at the AMDH headquarters in Rabat.
