Moroccan Businessman Found Dead Near Tangier, Suicide Suspected

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Tangier brigade discovered the lifeless body of a businessman in the Haouara forest, in the commune of Gueznaya. Suicide is the preferred hypothesis.
The body of a man native of Azrou was found on Thursday, December 16 in the Haouara forest, in the commune of Gueznaya, after residents heard a gunshot, reports Assabah. They alerted the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the city’s brigade. On arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of this man in his fifties next to a gray 4x4 vehicle, registered in the prefecture of Casablanca-Anfa, and a hunting rifle.
No signs of violence on the body of the deceased, no criminal data of any resistance from the man. The businessman would therefore have committed suicide. During the search of his car, the gendarmerie elements seized identity papers, a sum of money and a mobile phone. The hunting rifle as well. Pending the results of the autopsy and a detailed report on the circumstances of the tragedy, the suicide hypothesis is, for the moment, preferred.
