Tragic Gas Leak in Tangier: Four Found Dead from Butane Asphyxiation

New drama in Tangier. The civil protection elements made a macabre discovery in an apartment in the Tanja Balia neighborhood located east of the city. Three young women and a man died from butane gas asphyxiation last Thursday, after inhaling the fumes from a gas bottle that was fueling a water heater, reports Tabja24. The cause of this tragedy was a gas leak, which spread throughout the house. One of the victims had just taken a shower when the tragedy occurred.
After the tragedy, the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue of the Duc de Tovar hospital in Tangier. A fifth victim, a young woman, survived. She was admitted to the same hospital in very critical condition.
