Millions in Cash Found Buried at Deceased Zaouia Caretaker’s Home Near Marrakech

The elements of the gendarmerie of the commune of Ouled Dlim near Marrakech have discovered a "treasure" in the house of a deceased caretaker of a zaouia.
Informed of the disappearance of the caretaker of a zaouia located near Marrakech, the gendarmes went to the home of the latter, where they discovered the lifeless body of the official. It is four boxes containing 3 million dirhams buried at a depth of 10 meters, reports the Arabic-language daily Al Akhbar.
According to the findings of the gendarmes and the first observations of the forensic police elements, the body of the deceased bore no visible signs of violence. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the body was transported to the morgue, where an autopsy will be performed.
