Moroccan Boy’s Tragic Well Rescue Attempt Ends, Sparking Global Mourning

Rayan, a 5-year-old boy, remained trapped in a 45 cm diameter well for 5 days after an accidental fall, and died on Saturday, February 5. This sad news has moved many celebrities.
Upon hearing the sad news, the icon of modern Arab music Amr Adib, presenter of the show "Al-Hekaya" on the channel "mbc Egypt" and the journalist Lamis Al-Hadidi, presenter of the show "Kelma Akhira" (A last word) could not hold back their tears during the broadcast of their show.
"Rayan, may your soul rest in peace. I had a lot of hope for your survival, but you left us a great lesson, you awakened our humanity and made us realize that the whole world can be sad for a child’s crisis," reacted on Twitter the Moroccan singer and composer Samira Saïd. "Our happiness has not faded. My baby, may your soul rest in peace," tweeted the Syrian singer Assala Nasri.
On Instagram, Lebanese singer, actress and model Cyrine Abdelnour expresses her consternation: "no words can describe the sadness in our ears, what a shock we had a great hope that you would return to your family in good health... May your soul rest in peace our little angel you and every child who had to face wars, violence, rape and lack of responsibility towards childhood."
