Moroccan Boy, 12, Critical After Fall at Abandoned Spanish Construction Site

A 12-year-old boy of Moroccan origin fell more than 7 meters on an unsecured abandoned construction site in Andratx (Balearic Islands). His vital prognosis is engaged.
The news of the accident of the young boy has caused outrage among the residents of Andratx who blame the municipality for not having secured the surroundings of the construction site located about 300 meters from the police station and abandoned for several years.

The local police officers in Andratx were alerted that a group of children were playing inside the abandoned construction site. After investigation, it was discovered that one of them had fallen on the site and was seriously injured. The boy, of Moroccan origin, received first aid on the spot before being rushed to the hospital by SAMU agents. His vital prognosis would be engaged, informs Ultima Hora.

The construction site, abandoned for several years, has become a playground for children who come to play there and a meeting place for some young people in the neighborhood to consume alcohol or various types of drugs. The inhabitants of the city did not fail to ask the town hall to invite the owners to close the construction site in order to avoid accidents of this kind.
