Deadly Crane Collapse at Moroccan Hospital Kills 3, Injures 4

Three people were killed when crushed by the concrete blocks of a construction crane. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the Farabi University Hospital in Oujda.
Around 3 p.m., a construction crane collapsed in the middle of the Oujda CHU, while all the services were open to the public. The fall caused 3 deaths and 4 serious injuries, according to eyewitnesses on the spot.
The exact causes of the accident are still unknown. Meanwhile, the 4 injured were taken care of in the hospital’s emergency room, while the bodies of the victims were taken to the morgue.
An investigation has been opened by the judicial police elements under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the responsibilities and the exact circumstances of the incident.
