Construction Worker Falls to Death from 4th Floor in Tangier Accident

The residents of Sidi Driss, a suburban neighborhood of Tangier, are still in shock after the fatal fall of a mason from the top of a building under construction.

The accident occurred on a construction site in Hararine, a new residential neighborhood of the city. According to information relayed by Amnous, the victim was on scaffolding on the 4th floor when he fell backwards, head first.

The forty-year-old died on the spot, leaving behind a widow and 4 children, the same source indicates. The body was transferred to the hospital morgue and an investigation was ordered by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
